Bugfix: Kompatibilität mit macOS 15 wiederhergestellt Bug fix: Compatibility with macOS 15 restored

Ein Fehler in einer eingebundenen Programmbibliothek führte dazu, dass A7Info 4.0 nur auf der aktuellen macOS-Version 26 startete. Der Fehler ist behoben. Mindestvoraussetzung ist jetzt macOS 15 Sequoia.

A bug in an included program library caused A7Info 4.0 to start only on the current macOS version 26. The bug has been fixed. The minimum requirement is now macOS 15 Sequoia.

Neues Design, SVG-Icons und Batch-EXIF-Export New Design, SVG Icons and Batch EXIF Export

Version 4.0 ist das bislang umfangreichste Update in der Geschichte von A7Info. Das Erscheinungsbild der App wurde von Grund auf modernisiert: Das bisherige blau-graue Theme wurde durch eine neutrale Dunkelpalette mit warmem Amber-Akzent ersetzt. Alle Toolbar-Symbole sind jetzt als Vektorgrafiken ausgeführt und werden auf Retina-Displays gestochen scharf dargestellt. Der Metadata-Baum zeigt Kategorien mit eigenen Icons und kompakterer Zeilenhöhe.

Neu hinzugekommen sind J/K-Tastaturnavigation im Dateibrowser, ein Echtzeit-Suchfeld für die EXIF-/MakerNotes-Anzeige sowie eine Sternebewertung (0–5) pro Bild, die lokal gespeichert wird. Für den Workflow mit Lightroom lassen sich die Bewertungen als XMP-Sidecars exportieren. Hinzu kommt ein Batch-EXIF-Export, der die Metadaten eines ganzen Verzeichnisses auf einmal als CSV- oder JSON-Datei sichert.

Version 4.0 is the most extensive update in A7Info's history. The app's appearance has been redesigned from the ground up: the previous blue-grey theme has been replaced with a neutral dark palette and warm amber accent. All toolbar icons are now vector graphics (SVG) and render crisply on Retina displays. The metadata tree shows categories with dedicated icons and a more compact row height.

Also new are J/K keyboard navigation in the file browser, a real-time search field for EXIF/MakerNotes filtering, and per-image star ratings (0–5) stored locally. For Lightroom workflows, ratings can be exported as XMP sidecars. A batch EXIF export rounds things out, saving the metadata of an entire directory at once as CSV or JSON.

Die neue A1 Mark II bringt einige Veränderungen in den Exif-Daten mit sich. Vor allem wird bei Benutzung des elektronischen Verschlusses die Anzahl der bisherigen mechanischen Verschlussauslösungen ("ShutterCount") nicht mehr in die Bilddateien geschrieben. Darüber hinaus werden bei der Anzeige der Exif- und MakerNotes jetzt auch die zugrundeliegenden Datenfelder ("tags") dargestellt.

The new A1 Mark II introduces some changes in the EXIF data. In particular, when using the electronic shutter, the number of previous mechanical shutter actuations ("ShutterCount") is no longer written to the image files. In addition, the underlying data fields ("tags") are now also displayed when showing EXIF and MakerNotes.

Unterstützung für die Sony A1 Mark IISupport for the Sony A1 Mark II

Auch im vergangenen Jahr hatte ich nicht die Zeit, die ich mir für die Pflege des Programms gewünscht hätte. Umso mehr freue ich mich, dass A7Info nun auch die neue Sony A1 Mark II unterstützt.

Last year too I didn't have as much time for maintaining the programme as I would have liked. All the more pleased I am that A7Info now supports the new Sony A1 Mark II.
